Springfield, Missouri,
is easy to find, located in southwest Missouri, and 125 miles east of the population center of the United States.  The city is within 200 miles of St. Louis; 174 miles of Kansas City; 185 miles of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and 35 miles north of Branson.  Major Highways are Interstate 44, U.S. 65, U.S. 60, U.S. 160 and Missouri 13.
 

Springfield is the third-largest city in Missouri.  Growth is attributed to many factors, including exceptional housing at uncommonly low cost.  Springfield also boasts one of America's healthiest environments with clean air and water, a low crime rate and attractive surroundings.  In 2000, the population within Springfield's city limits was 151,580.  The estimated Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) population is 385,000.
